De musical Back to the Future, gebaseerd op de beroemde film uit de jaren tachtig, stopt na anderhalf jaar op Broadway. Variety meldt dat de laatste voorstelling op 5 januari 2025 wordt gespeeld. De musical is dan iets meer dan vijfhonderd keer opgevoerd in New York.
